This exotic climbing yearly is prized for its fairly purple to blue colored trumpet-shaped blooms. The flowers open in the morning to reveal their white throats and close within the night.There are many species within the Alstroemeria loved ones, but this is probably the hardiest. It is a tuberous perennial that makes clusters of little orchid-li
